This felting Wool is 100% made in the EU from only the highest quality New Zealand merino wool unlike many of the other felting batts on the market. This particular wool is Oeko-Tex certified which assures that in its dying no harmful chemicals have been used.
This wool is quite soft, but not over-processed, which is important for sustainable textile practises. It is fairly short staple with hardly any vegetable matter. I have personally used this particular wool not only in all of my needle felting kits, but throughout my career as a fiber artist in my own work.
Carded wool is not only the easiest way to start needle felting, but is a beautiful organic material to improve your crafting skills.
